Welcome to the Peoria Basketball League (PBL) — the premier men’s basketball league in Central Illinois for players 18 and older. Built on competition, community, and passion for the game, the PBL offers athletes a professional-style experience that mirrors the energy and structure of the NBA.

Our league features 16 teams, each led by a General Manager and competing through a full season of intense matchups, playoffs, and a championship series. Every player’s performance is tracked with full stats, including points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and shooting percentages — all updated live on our official website.

The PBL is more than just basketball — it’s about discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. With official NBA rules in place, our games deliver the same competitive standards and excitement fans love, complete with referees, scorekeepers, and league volunteers ensuring fair and high-quality play.

Each season features:

• Two 24-minute halves (NBA-style game format)

• Stat tracking and player highlights on the website

• Volunteer requirements for players and GMs (3 games per season)

• Cash prizes for league champions, MVP, and stat leaders

• Tryout sessions and player draft held before the season tip-off
